Mina Zhao is a self-named sewing pattern brand, owned and run solely by me.

I started sewing at 13 and instantly fell in love with it. It stayed with me all through high school before deciding to do a degree in Pattern Cutting at London College of Fashion.

During those 4 years at university, I decided to create online content as a means to encourage people to make their own clothes. With the increasingly short fashion cycle and deteriorating quality in high street stores, home sewing feels like the only solution to be able to afford and wear the garments I really want.

By selling digital patterns, I want to make it easier for people to access the necessary tools needed to start sewing, as well as adding their personal charm to every piece they make.

Sewing has been one of my most fulfilling hobbies (and one of the great loves of my life), and I hope to share that feeling with you :).
